After a good thorough wash, drying is the next important task to tackle; you’d want to dry as fast as you can to avoid watermarks.

How can I get the best results?

There are three methods to install HydroSilex’s nanoceramic coating products: Dry, wet and foam cannon application. I personally recommend only the dry application for DIY user, the other two should be left to professionals.

To get started with the dry application simply follow the steps:

• Give your vehicle a thorough wash
• Dry with a microfiber towel.
• Apply HydroSilex Rewind and buff with a dry towel (this step is optional, but recommended).
• Spray Hydrosilex Recharge onto vehicle surface.
• Quickly dry with a clean microfiber towel.
• Apply HydroSilex Recharge at least twice for best result.
• Remember, all these should be done on a cold surface away from sunlight.

How long does HydroSilex take to cure?

At most 10-12 minutes.

The process is really easy: Wash thoroughly, dry, apply HydroSilex, buff up the excess and let it cure.

Should I ceramic coat my car?

Yes, you should. It is necessary if you want to preserve your car’s paint for as long as possible.

The benefits are numerous: coating protects your paint from UV ray, which without some protective coating, makes your paint fade faster; a ceramic coated car is better equipped to withstand the elements, irrespective of the terrain it is driven through; HydroSilex is anti-corrosion and anti-oxidation; and, of course your car looks polished like it just came out of the lot –I definitely want my car to look like that every day!

Can I use the wet or foam cannon method to apply HydroSilex Recharge?

Yes, you can, but we do not recommend this method as it is really tricky to get the right finish. Only use if you know what you are doing. If you want to, you can always experiment with one side.

Verdict

As a DIY nanoceramic coating, HydroSilex products can be used at the comfort of your home and it takes roughly twelve minutes for an all-round even coating. From what we’ve seen, HydroSilex provides vehicle owners with a superior nano-ceramic coating at a very affordable price.

If you are a skeptic–like I am, I mean that’s why I test these products. I recommend you test the waters with HydroSilex and from the result, you can judge for yourself. If you’re impressed, then, sure enough, a single application every three to four weeks will keep your car looking new for a long time to come.
