PRODUXA Premium Super Gloss & Ultra Hydrophobic Shine Spray Review
Sometimes, a car wash simply isnât enough to get your car clean and sparkly. That is where a good polish comes in. Polishing your vehicle doesnât only make your car look nice and new. It also enhances the finish, protects against dirt, and ultimately extends your vehicleâs paintwork.
As I was looking to invest in some new polish/shine spray for my truck, I came across PRODUXA Premium Super Gloss & Ultra Hydrophobic Shine Spray. This product was advertised as, âa revolutionary paint polish and sealer is a great multi-surface top coat for cars, boats, and even bicycles.â It sounded like a great product that I definitely wanted to try on my vehicle, so I decided to order a couple of bottles.
After doing some product comparisons on the internet, I found PRODUXAâs premium super gloss and ultra hydrophobic shine spray to be a bit pricier than the other standard polishes.
I simply tapped a few taps online, and PRODUXA had their product shipped to me the next day.
Positives
At first glance, I found PRODUXAâs packaging to be fairly lackluster. I would have expected something more fancy or bold even.
The polish came in white plastic spray bottles. It was nothing fancy. Just like what your typical Windex or everyday, multi-purpose cleaner would normally be packaged in.
With my first impressions done with, PRODUXA Premium Super Gloss & Ultra Hydrophobic Shine Spray actually did its job. The spray bottles provided a clean and easy way to apply the polish for a good shine on my vehicle.
Surprisingly, I had to apply a good chunk of the bottle to cover the entirety of my truck. For itâs price, I would have thought that one bottle would at least go through two rounds at the least.
I fully did not expect the spray bottle to be almost empty to cover just one car. However, PRODUXA isnât to blame. Maybe I should have read up on what quantity of polish I would need to fully cover the surface area of my truck.
Moving on, after the easy application, the shine on PRODUXAâs polish looked great. My truckle sparkled and speckled like its glory days. My truck shined, and looked years younger even. The polish definitely did its job. After full application, the results were great.
The minor scratches and imperfections on my truck were hardly noticeable. PRODUXAâs premium gloss spray really smoothed and flattened many minor imperfections on my paint job. The product really made the minor blemishes and deformities go undetected.
From the before and after pictures, there were noticeable differences.
However, being skeptical of hydrophobic car care products, I was uncertain of my initial purchase of PRODUXAâs spray bottles. The polishâs hydrophobic qualities are basically the sole reason why this product is marked at such a higher price point than their competitorsâ rates. This element is supposed to protect a vehicle against rain and other wet compounds. This not only keeps your car cleaner longer, but it also helps maintain your vehicleâs paint-life and overall appearance.
Any minor scratches, imperfections, spots, or oxidized areas on my vehicle were instantly polished over. Those imperfections were hardly visible any more.
My truck truly even sparkled at night time! It was an easy installation, and the spray nozzles on the bottle helped the product apply on the truck evenly and messy free. My first impressions was that my car looked like it just went through a nice, hot shower.

Car wax and polish are meant to clean and improve the look of an automobileâs finish. However, wax acts as a shield for your car against debris and dirt. Polish is supposed to sustain your carâs âcar washâ feeling for an extended period of time. This means the longer the wax and polish can stay on your car, the longer your car looks new and the longer your car is protected. So, overall, a good car wax and polish can really extend the look and paint life of your car.
The bottles are advertised as lasting 5-6 months, however that was not the case in my experience. After applying an entire bottle onto my truck, the shine came to a stale at normal usage about a week after my first application. I thought that with PRODUXAâs higher price point, compared to other competitorsâ polish prices, the product would have more than one use per bottle and last longer than just simply for a week.
To clarify, I did drive around in the wet rain during the week I reviewed the car polish. On the other hand, a quality car polish/wax would have been able to withstand the light rain. I fully expected PRODUXAâs premium super gloss to still be on my paint job, protecting my vehicle.
However, after a week of driving in light rain, the car was left spotty and the PRODUXA was pretty much gone. I was definitely hoping for a longer lasting shine than this, especially since the spray bottles are suppose to also act as a hydrophobic spray.

Bought some of produxa products, had to pay royal mail ÂŁ16 for customs charge. This is briefly explained in their t&câs. But not when you pay. I have tried this stuff and frankly wouldnât use it on my cars again, meguiars, auto glym, zymol, and chem.guys are streets ahead . Very expensive for what you get. Rubbish!
I used this product in sept. 2019 , the next week I went into the hospital , and was in the hospital. And rehab for 3 months . My truck sat there until April and it looked like I had just finished applying it . This was all winter long , and I was so impressed I couldnât believe it ! Iam going to use this product from now on !
